Corrine C. Byrd, RHIA, serves as HIM Operations Manager at MD Anderson Cancer Center with over 20 years of experience in Health Information Management. She oversees deficiency tracking and medical record audits and holds an Associate of Science in Medical Records Technology from Cuyahoga Community College Cleveland, Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Management from Youngstown State University Youngstown, Ohio. Corrine is a member of AHIMA’s Council for Excellence in Education, and has been an active leader within TxHIMA, and a dedicated mentor to HIM students and professionals.
