Nicole Phillips, MSHIM, RHIA, CEHRS, is a Health Information Management educator and industry leader with more than 25 years of experience in clinical documentation, EHR optimization, regulatory compliance, and revenue cycle analytics. She is the Enterprise Applications & Analytics Director at Cantex, where she leads enterprise applications, artificial intelligence and data analytics strategy for seven post-acute care service lines. Nicole is also a former Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator and is dedicated to promoting care continuity, data integrity, and teamwork across post acute care disciplines. She has created HIM curricula, led staff training, and mentored new professionals in both academic and workplace settings. Nicole is currently working toward her Doctorate in Health Informatics at Rutgers University, focusing on connecting acute and post-acute HIM practices improving patient outcomes. Her presentations offer practical tools and real-world insights to help HIM professionals lead with clarity, compassion, and a strong sense of compliance.
