Terressa Volter, BS, RHIT, is an HIM Data Analyst in Health Information Management at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She has nearly 20 years of experience in Health Information Management and earned her Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Rasmussen University, along with her RHIT certification in 2016. Driven by a passion for people and the value of integrative care, she later completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston-Downtown. Her background includes document imaging, deficiency analysis, encounter resolution, hospital account merge, medical record form creation, and support for clinical documentation integrity. In her personal time, Terressa enjoys reading, completing DIY projects, and assisting with audio, lighting, and media at her church.
