Cecario Tyrel Guerrero, MBA, RHIA, is the Director of Data Analytics and Compliance at Velarity Health, where he leads healthcare analytics, compliance oversight, and data strategy initiatives. His work focuses on transforming healthcare data into actionable insights that improve coding accuracy, compliance performance, and revenue cycle outcomes.

Tyrel has extensive leadership experience in health information management, including HIM operations, coding, clinical documentation improvement, revenue cycle optimization, and enterprise reporting across healthcare organizations. His professional interests include healthcare analytics, workforce development, operational excellence, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

He is also an adjunct faculty member at Texas State University and St. Philip’s College, where he teaches healthcare data analysis and research development. Tyrel serves as President of the Texas Health Information Management Association (TxHIMA) and Co-Chair of the AHIMA Membership Committee, supporting the HIM profession through leadership, education, and service.
